Modern bathtubs have overflow and water drains and may have tapwares mounted on them. They may also have built-in or free standing or sometimes sunken.
There are two commonly used styles of bathroom tubs: The Australian-style and Eastern style bathtubs. The former one is the bather lies down. These bathtubs* and toilet suites are typically shallow and long. The latter one is the bathtubs in which the bather goes by stand up. These are known as ofuro in Japan and are typically short and deep complemented by great bathroom vanities* such as showers and tapware.
